Futures spread up 931bps

KARACHI: The futures spread increased by 931bps to 22.89 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter however remained low as average daily volumes decreased by 61.0 percent to 122.96 million shares during this week as compared to previous week’s average of 315.05 million shares.

Average daily traded value on the futures counter declined by 51.7 percent to Rs 5.62 billion during this week against previous week’s Rs 11.62 billion.
