Razzaq believes Shane Watson’s inclusion made Gladiators stronger

Pakistan former all rounder Abdul Razzaq, who is now working as the bowling coach of Pakistan Super League franchise Quetta Gladiators, has said that the addition of Australian all rounder Shane Watson have strengthened the side.
“The current Gladiators side is better than the one that played last year, because we have Watson now and he is a complete player. Watson knows how to handle pressure well, alongside bowling and batting well,” said Razzaq.
Gladiators lost their last match against Peshawar Zalmi, after heroics from Zalmi’s skipper Darren Sammy through which he took his side to the winning post, despite an impressive bowling display by Quetta. Razzaq, however, was not disappointed by the outcome as he was of the view that such losses are crucial in early stages for
“It is a sign that Quetta Gladiators are a powerful side, it is good that we get to play such matches ahead of the semi finals, which allows us to get self aware of the situation and also the bowlers get to know their worth as well,” he said.
The former all rounder informed that his side would work on the utilization of bowlers they have in hand.
