KARACHI: Gold on Wednesday regained a sizeable value but silver remained firm on the local market, traders said. Gold prices grew by Rs800 to Rs 223000 per tola and Rs686 to Rs 191187 per 10 grams.
Silver was available for Rs2800 per tola and Rs2400.54 per 10 grams. On the world market, gold prices stood for $1951 per ounce and silver for $24.46 per ounce, traders said.
