LAHORE: The Director General of Trade Organizations Office has clarified in a letter to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry that the affairs of the organisation should be conducted in accordance with the Trade Organizations Act 2013 (Trade Organizations Amendment Act 2022) and Trade Organizations Rules 2013. In case of deviation, action would be taken under Sections 20 and 25 of the Trade Organizations Act, 2013.
The DGTO Office has directed the Secretary General Lahore Chamber in writing to conduct the affairs of the organisation in accordance with the Trade Organizations Act 2013 (Trade Organizations Amendment Act 2022) and Trade Organizations Rules 2013 otherwise in accordance with Sections 20 and 25 of the Trade Organizations Act 2013, action can be taken.
