ABIDJAN: Cocoa arrivals at ports in top grower Ivory Coast had reached 1.688 million tonnes by March 5 since the start of the season on Oct. 1, down 3.7 % from the same period last season, exporters estimated on Monday.
Arabica coffee prices slide, sugar and cocoa down
About 9,000 tonnes of beans were delivered to Abidjan port and 9,000 tonnes to San Pedro between Feb. 27 and March 5 for a total of 18,000 tonnes, down from 45,000 tonnes in the same week the previous season.
