KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 34.274 billion and the number of lots traded at 27,289.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 14.839 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 6.957 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.940 billion), DJ (PKR 2.448 billion), Silver (PKR 2.355 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.776 billion), Platinum (PKR 842.530 million), Natural Gas (PKR 553.706 million), SP500 (PKR 416.005 million), Palladium (PKR 82.879 million), Copper (PKR 41.689 million), Brent (PKR 11.776 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 7.433 million).
In Agricultural Commodities, 5 lots of Cotton amounting to PRK 5.725 million were traded.
