KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 19.760 billion and the number of lots traded at 15,973.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to 9.220 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.134 billion), Silver (PKR 2.042 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.923 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 693.958 million), Platinum (PKR 492.151 million), DJ (PKR 433.825 million), Copper (PKR 341.677 million), Natural Gas (PKR 275.336 million), SP500 (PKR 187.051 million), Japan Equity (PKR 12.597 million) and Brent (PKR 2.773 million).
In Agricultural Commodities, 9 lots of Cotton amounting to PRK 8.960 million were traded.
