KARACHI: On Tuesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 22.831 billion and the number of lots traded at 14,736. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 6.271 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 5.453 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.782 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 3.206 billion), DJ (PKR 1.746 billion), Silver (PKR 1.036 billion), Natural Gas (PKR 709.657 million), Platinum (PKR 410.351 million), SP 500 (PKR 139.696 million), Brent (PKR 42.375 million), Copper (PKR 25.905 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 6.163 million).
In Agricultural Commodities, 7 lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 8.815 million were traded.
