KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 24.876 billion and the number of lots traded at 16,669. Major business was contributed by NSDQ 100 amounting to PKR 10.100 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.787 billion), Gold (PKR 4.783 billion), DJ (PKR 1.243 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.217 billion), Silver (PKR 1.091 billion), Natural Gas (PKR 839.540 million), SP 500 (PKR 477.488 million), Platinum (PKR 168.558 million), Copper (PKR 164.255 million) and Brent (PKR 2.308 million).
In Agricultural Commodities, 5 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 7.280 were traded.
