KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 13.987 billion and the number of lots traded at 11,562. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.575 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 4.494 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.566 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.335 billion), Silver (PKR 905.438 million), DJ (PKR 492.231 million), SP 500 (PKR 232.041 million), Natural Gas (PKR 149.132 million), Platinum (PKR 92.426 million), Palladium (PKR 77.244 million), Japan Equity (PKR 30.940 million), Brent (PKR 19.033 million) and Copper (PKR 17.060 million). In Agricultural Commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.435 million was traded.
