KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.082 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,309. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.361 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.701 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.659 billion), DJ (PKR 1.368 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.240 billion), Silver (PKR 1.032 billion), Natural Gas (PKR 1.204 billion), Copper (PKR 293.300 million), SP 500 (PKR 170.450 million), Platinum (PKR 170.184 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 59.769 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 13 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 16.972 million were traded.
