Five injured as airplane's stairway collapses at Islamabad airport

Several people were injured after the stairway of a passenger plane collapsed at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Tuesday.

According to local media reports, the passengers were boarding the plane when the incident took place. As a result, three women and two men including a loader were sustained injuries.

The plane, belonging to Emirates airlines, was departing for Dubai. The injured were taken to Benazir Bhutto Hospital for medical assistance.
