KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 15.032 billion and the number of lots traded at 14,345. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.557 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.468 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.241 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.440 billion), DJ (PKR 1.371 billion), Silver (PKR 891.051 million), Platinum (PKR 398.806 million), SP 500 (PKR 325.788 million), Copper (PKR 233.061 million), Natural Gas (PKR 57.355 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 46.169 million).
