KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.747 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,364. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.395 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.020 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.621 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 784.734 million), Natural Gas (PKR 519.736 million), DJ (PKR 472.768 million), Silver (PKR 385.971 million), Platinum (PKR 319.916 million), Copper (PKR 178.695 million) and SP 500 (PKR 48.581 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 18 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 16.804 million was traded.
