KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 17.508 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,599. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 9.058 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.963 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.869 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.173 billion), Copper (PKR 1.164 billion), Silver (PKR 767.912 million), DJ (PKR 678.062 million), Natural Gas (PKR 350.744 million), Platinum (PKR 281.666 million), SP 500 (PKR 196.296 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 4.828 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 44 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 39.482 million was traded.
