KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.102 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,151. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.702 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.121 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.790 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.732 billion), Silver (PKR 969.536 million), Copper (PKR 683.951 million), Platinum (PKR 504.292 million), Natural Gas (PKR 327.993 million), DJ (PKR 141.788 million), SP 500 (PKR 118.297 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 9.598 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 56 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 54.197million was traded.
