KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.334 billion and the number of lots traded at 7,959.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.410 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.932 billion), Copper (PKR 984.729 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 927.126 million), DJ (PKR 719.772 million), Crude Oil (PKR 592.344 million), Silver (PKR 477.447 million), Platinum (PKR 457.035 million), Japan Equity (PKR 422.289 million), Natural Gas (PKR 310.111 million) and SP 500 (PKR 100.902 million).
In Agricultural Commod-ities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 0.785 million was traded.
