KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 7.950 billion and the number of lots traded at 8,175. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.486 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.224 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.209 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.065 billion), Natural Gas (PKR 549.210 million), Copper (PKR 499.511 million), Platinum (PKR 318.434 million), DJ (PKR 283.456 million), Silver (PKR 245.420 million), Japan Equity (PKR 52.539 million) and SP 500 (PKR 15.889 million). In Agriculture Commodities, 5 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.891 million were traded.
