KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.218 billion and the number of lots traded at 5,747. Major business was contributed by Currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 1.521 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 1.333 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.305 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.059 billion), Natural Gas (PKR 348.051 million), Platinum (PKR 195.866 million), DJ (PKR 182.224 million), Silver (PKR 150.936 million), Copper (PKR 51.535 million), SP 500 (PKR 50.976 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 18.413 million). In Agriculture Commodities, 22 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 17.179 million were traded.
