KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 10.720 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,858. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.585 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.049 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.919 billion), Copper (PKR 802.049 million), Platinum (PKR 541.577 million), Crude Oil (PKR 527.738 million), DJ (PKR 489.469 million), Silver (PKR 399.905 million), SP 500 (PKR 204.975 million), Natural Gas (PKR 196.143 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 4.503 million). In Agriculture Commodities, 13 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 9.321 million were traded.
