KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.489 billion and the number of lots traded 11,103. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.836 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.351 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.807 billion), DJ (PKR 1.439 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 954.040 million), Silver (PKR 635.543 million), Copper (PKR 469.115 million), Natural Gas (PKR 449.029 million), Platinum (PKR 239.791 million), SP500 (PKR 156.796 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 149.360 million). In Agriculture Commodities, 7 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 5.082 million were traded.
