KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 10.229 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,839. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.713 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.383 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 830.545 million), Silver (PKR 745.268 million), Crude Oil (PKR 471.905 million), Platinum (PKR 403.339 million), DJ (PKR 284.348 million), Natural Gas (PKR 255.578 million), Copper (PKR 81.323 million), SP 500 (PKR 55.810 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 4.563 million). In Agricultural Commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 0.687 million was traded.
