NAB DG conducts Khuli Katchehri

KARACHI: Director General (DG) of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Karachi, Mohammad Altaf Bawany conducted a Khuli Katchehri at his office on Thursday.

According to a statement here, he said that a large number of complainants gathered at the NAB office and submitted their applications.

Majority of the complainants got their complaints registered against land grabbers, builders and cooperative societies managements for their alleged role in cheating public at large and misappropriating properties of genuine owners and not handing over booked properties to owners on time.

It has been decided in principle that the NAB Karachi will soon initiate action as per law in effective coordination with other Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) against land grabbers particularly in Karachi and against the officials concerned for their inaction and connivance.

It was further stated that general public is encouraged to register complaints other than those of personal nature.

The Khuli Katchehry will be conducted every last Thursday of each month at the NAB office between 2p.m. to 4p.m.
