KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.818 billion and the number of lots traded at 8,083.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.932, billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.428 billion), Silver (PKR 890.707 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 560.796 million), Crude Oil (PKR 244.620 million), Platinum (PKR 201.321 million), DJ (PKR 194.200 million), Copper (PKR 174.002 million), Natural Gas (PKR 164.391 million) and SP500 (PKR 27.389 million).
In Agricultural Commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.366 million were traded.
