KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 18.552 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,007.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 7.883 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 6.020 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 2.279 billion, DJ PKR 656.992 million, silver PKR 553.822 million, crude oil PKR 410.323 million, copper PKR 245.031 million, platinum PKR 210.515 million, natural gas PKR 130.033 million and SP500 PKR 162.757 million.
In Agricultural Commodities, one lot of cotton amounting to PKR 0.652 million was traded.
