KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.355 billion and the number of lots traded 6,257.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.899 billion, followed by DJ PKR 1.134 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 669.181 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 496.133 million, copper PKR 317.171 million, silver PKR 316.010 million, natural gas PKR 182.400 million, crude oil PKR 177.550 million, platinum PKR 116.390 million and SP500 PKR 46.967 million.

In agriculture commodities, 3 lots of corn amounting to PKR 10.268 million and 3 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 1.747 million were traded.
