CHICAGO: Chicago Board of Trade corn futures ended higher on Wednesday as traders eyed US stocks ahead of the Nov. 10 supply and demand report, traders said. CBOT December corn settled 4-1/4 cents higher at $4.05-1/4 per bushel.

The US Department of Agriculture estimates 1.8-2.5 million tonnes of corn were sold for export for the week ended October 29.

Brazil's 2020/2021 total corn crop is estimated to be 111.10 million tonnes, according to Commodity brokerage StoneX.

The Ukrainian pig and poultry growers associations have asked the government to set a maximum volume of corn available for export in the 2020/21 season due to a sharp jump in fodder costs that could push up meat prices.
