PM to inaugurate Sehat Card programme in Swat tomorrow
- Jhagra says the programme will be implemented across K-P by January 31 next year
(Karachi) Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Sehat Card Plus Programme for the people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) in Swat on November 6 (tomorrow), Radio Pakistan reported on Thursday.
In a press briefing, K-P Health Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra said the Sehat Card programme will be implemented across the province by January 31 next year.
He added that in the first phase, health insurance scheme has been launched in six districts of Malakand division.
Meanwhile, the premier will also inaugurate Hassan Abdal Railway Station. The railway station has been constructed at a cost of 300 million rupees. Clean and cold water plants have been installed for the convenience of the passengers. Apart from this, a canteen has also been constructed along with the waiting area.
A new tubewell has also been installed to meet the water requirement of the railway station as well as installation of 300 KV generator for uninterrupted power supply.
