KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 8.107 billion and the number of lots traded 9,126.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.451 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 1.684 billion, copper PKR 779.216 million, currencies through COTS PKR 672.735 million, DJ PKR 583.034 million, silver PKR 439.138 million, natural gas PKR 205.608 million, platinum PKR 172.738 million, Crude Oil PKR 80.585 million and SP500 PKR 38.854 million.
In agriculture commodities, 12 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 59.964 million, one lot of soybean amounting to PKR 8.694 million and one lot of cotton amounting to PKR 0.575 million were traded.
