Expressing his condolences on the lives lost in the Peshawar attack, Prime Minister Imran Khan has vowed that the terrorists responsible for this cowardly barbaric attack will be brought to justice.

On Tuesday morning, seven people died and more than 100 were injured in a blast at a seminary in Peshawar's Dir Colony. According to City SP Waqar Azeem, an unidentified man came to the madrassah at around 8am, kept a bag there which had explosives, and left.

In a tweet, the PM said he was deeply saddened by the terrorist attack on the madrassah and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.

"I want to assure my nation we will ensure the terrorists responsible for this cowardly barbaric attack are brought to justice asap," the PM said.

President Arif Alvi, Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser and other leaders have also condemned the attack and expressed their condolences.
