LAHORE: A sessions court on Saturday sought reply from Shehbaz Sharif in an application of Prime Minister Imran Khan for placing on record all the details of pending cases against Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif in his defamation suit against the prime minister.
Earlier, the prime minister's counsel contended that over a year back an application was filed to bring details of pending corruption references against Shahbaz Sharif on the record in his suit against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He said the plaintiff's counsel had failed to respond for a long time. He urged the court to seek a reply from the plaintiff on the application first before further proceedings on the main suit.
