KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling weakened slightly on Wednesday on the back of an uptick in demand, mainly from players in the interbank market.

At 0943GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,710/3,720, compared to Tuesday's close of 3,698/3,708.
