Amid rise in COVID cases, PIA issues further SOPs

Following the increase in coronavirus cases in the country, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has issued new SOPs for employees.

Under the SOPs, the use of face masks during office hours is mandatory, handshakes and hugs are also prohibited, while people with coughs, fevers and colds are advised to stay away and any employee with a fever, cough or cold will be immediately discharged or isolated.
According to the PIA administration, the official meeting will be held via video conference while the main meeting will be held at a distance of three feet and approval of important matters will be done through emails, under an ERP system.
