Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi paid a farewell call on Saturday to Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza in Rawalpindi.
General Raza thanked the Naval chief for his services to the nation during a long and illustrious career. Admiral Abbasi will be retiring on October 6.
On October 1, the government appointed Vice-Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi as the next CNS. He will take command on October 7.
