Pakistan reports 1738 recoveries from COVID-19

Pakistan's total coronavirus recoveries reached 275,317 on Saturday after the country reported 1738 more recoveries.

During the last 24 hours, 25,537 coronavirus tests were carried out across the country. Out of these tests, 586 came out positive. There are now only 10,626 active cases in the country.

So far, there are 127,691cases in Sindh, 96,057 in Punjab, 12,473 in Balochistan and 35,602 in KP. Similarly, there are 15,472 confirmed cases in Islamabad, 2,241 in AJK and 2,638 in GB.

In the past 24 hours, the country lost 12 more people to the novel virus. Coronavirus has claimed 6,231 lives so far in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, over 22.4 million people have been infected globally with the virus. While more than 787,000 people have also died.
