Elite Force personnel martyred, 4 injured

SHEIKHUPURA: An Elite Force personnel was martyred while four cops were injured when a police van fell in a ditch which chasing robbers here on Sunday. The Elite Force personnel signaled to stop a suspected car in Chichoki Mallian area of Sheikhupura but instead of stopping they started firing and sped the scene.

The police chased the car and due to firing of robbers present in car, the police van got out of control and plunged into a gorge. Elite Force personnel Saqib was martyred in the accident while four policemen were injured and shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) hospital.
