Sindh's coronavirus recoveries cross 100,000 mark
- 86% of the total patients in the province have recovered, Murtaza Wahab said.
Sindh Spokesperson Murtaza Wahab announced on Friday that the total number of coronavirus recoveries in Sindh have crossed 100000.
In a tweet, Wahab said that as of Friday, 100002 patients have recovered from the novel coronavirus. "This is 86% of the total patients in the province," he added.
On Thursday, Sindh reported 670 new cases of the coronavirus. Sindh has now 115,883 confirmed coronavirus cases. The death toll has reached 2096.
Meanwhile, Pakistan conducted 22,006 tests in the past 24 hours, out of which 1,209 came out positive. Pakistan's tally stands at 270,400.
The country also reported 54 deaths, taking the death toll to 5,763. Total recoveries are 219,783.
