Pakistan prays for swift recovery of King Salman: PM

  • The 84-year-old king has been admitted to a hospital.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has wished for the swift recovery of Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz who was earlier admitted to a hospital.

In a tweet on Monday, the PM expressed his concern on the hospitalization of the custodian of the two Holy Mosques. He prayed for quick recovery of the the king.

"The government and people of Pakistan, and I myself, join our Saudi brethren in prayers for His Majesty's swift recovery, good health and long life. Ameen," the PM tweeted.

Earlier today, state news agency SPA said that the 84-year-old ruler is undergoing medical checkup. The king is suffering from inflammation of the gall bladder.
