The 28-year-old will be allowed to travel to England after two negative results.
Fast-bowler Mohammad Amir is likely to join Pakistan team in England for the upcoming series as the replacement for Haris Rauf, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.
As per details, the medical team at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has asked Amir to prepare for a possible coronavirus test in coming days.
The 28-year-old will be allowed to travel to England after two negative results.
Amir had previously voiced his intentions of staying away from the longest format of the sport in order to prolong his career. The talented pacer, however, has been unable to practice his skills due to the coronavirus lockdown.
Pakistan will play three Twenty20 internationals (T20I) after the Test series starting in August.
