Licenses of nine Pakistani pilots working in Vietnam found genuine
- A representative of the Vietnam Aviation Administration confirmed that during the flight operation at Vietnamese airlines, there was no case of a Pakistani pilot involved in a flight safety incident or threat.
Some nine Pakistani pilots out of twelve working in Vietnam are confirmed to have a valid license.
According to a notification from the Pakistani Embassy in Hanoi, the list of nine pilot pilots has been legally validated by the Government of Pakistan and is currently valid. While the remaining 3 pilots, the Vietnam Aviation Administration said is in the verifying process, reported Lao Dong.
In addition, the Embassy informed that all CPL / ATPL aircraft licenses issued by the Pakistani Aviation Authority are real and valid. No degree is considered to be fake.
At the end of June 2020, Vietnam Aviation Administration asked the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan to verify the license of 12 pilots working in Vietnam and the agency also instructed to suspend the pilots from flying.
At the same time, the Vietnam Aviation Administration also collaborated with the Pakistani authorities to review the entire records of Pakistani pilots. A representative of the Vietnam Aviation Administration confirmed that during the flight operation at Vietnamese airlines, there was no case of a Pakistani pilot involved in a flight safety incident or threat.
According to a report from the Vietnam Aviation Administration, a total of 27 Pakistani pilots are licensed and rated by the Vietnam Aviation Department for Vietnamese airlines. In which, there are 12 cases of pilots flying for Vietnamese airlines and in the remaining 15 cases pilots have either expired contracts or the pilot has returned.
