ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has decided to file a review petition against the apex court verdict on Justice Qazi Faez Isa's constitutional petition against the Presidential Reference.
The SCBA President, Syed Qalb-e-Hassan, on Saturday told the media that the lawyers' top body in a meeting had given approval for filing of an appeal, which would be filed next week.
A 10-member larger bench, headed by Justice Umar Ata Bandial on June 19, 2020, quashed the Presidential Reference and abated the show cause proceedings against Justice Qazi Faez Isa before the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC).
Sarina Isa Khoso, the wife of Justice Qazi Faez, on Thursday visited the FBR and submitted documents pertaining to her income from American School, Karachi; property in Clifton, Karachi; detail of agriculture land gifted by her father in Dera Murad Jamali and Naseerabad; money sent abroad through Standard Chartered Bank; income tax paid and tax returns filed.
