KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal said since last several years, the incompetent management of K-Electric is passing the buck of its poor performance on the people of Karachi.
The only solution to prolonged loadshedding and over-billing is to end K Electric's monopoly on the purchase and transmission of electricity and issue licenses to various companies in Karachi to purchase and supply electricity in the style of cellular companies, he said while addressing the meeting of central executive committee, national council, central departments and district in-charges of PSP.
The meeting was presided over by the chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal and president Anis Kaim Khani.
Several national level issues including the spread of Covid-19, prolong and unannounced load shedding and excessive bills by KE were discussed in detail.
