Coronavirus infects 988 more people, claims 26 lives in Punjab

The novel coronavirus has infected 988 more people in Punjab taking the provincial tally to 84,587.

According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority Punjab, in the last 24 hours 9,587 tests were conducted out of which 988 came out positive. The province has so far tested 564,893 people out of which 84,587 have tested COVID-19 positive.

Due to the virus, 26 more people also passed away. So far, Punjab has lost 1955 people to the disease.

534 patients also recovered in the past 24 hours in the province. In total, 51450 people have also recovered in Punjab.
