LAHORE: In order to make the flour prices stable across the province, the Punjab government has offered the flour millers its wheat stock at an official rate. Wheat will be supplied to flour mills at the rate of Rs1475 per 40kgs. Ex-mill price of a 20kg flour bag is Rs837 and retail price is Rs860. While the ex-mill price of a 10kg flour bag will be Rs 419 and retail price will be Rs430.
The Punjab Food Department has issued notification in this regard here on Wednesday regarding releasing of wheat to flour mills in Punjab.
According to the notification of Food Department, all districts shall have population-based wheat quota. The release of wheat has been started to functional flour mills across the province.
