Shadab Khan reveals about his exceptional fielding talent

Pakistan's teenage leg spinner Shadab Khan has emerged as one of the most potent bowlers in the recent limited overs cricket. Carrying one of the best disguised googly in the modern game, along with regular leg spin, the youngster has jumped up the ranks in no times.

Meanwhile, the youngster is also rated one of the best fielders in Pakistani side and is regularly seen diving to grab a catch, which is an added bonus for a team not well known for its fielding abilities.

Revealing about his exceptional fielding abilities, Shadab said he upped focus on fielding, in order to be in the game. “I started playing cricket with my cousins, I was very small back, so I didn’t get to bat or bowl. This led me to start focusing on my fielding skills, as I wanted to be involved in the game, that’s where I developed my skills as a fielder,” said Shadab, quoted PSL.

“I went through the same drill in cub cricket as well. I feel that if someone can dive on our ground, he will be able to dive on any ground in the world,” added Shadab.

Since making his international debut for Pakistan in 2017, the leggie has become the go to spinner, meanwhile becoming a prized player for other foreign leagues as well including, BPL and BBL.
