UN chief extends condolences over Iran's plane crash

UNITED NATIONS:'Deeply saddened to learn of the tragic airplane accident Sunday near Yasuj, Iran, United Nations Secretary-General has extended his heartfelt condolences to the country's people and Government,' he said in a message issued by his spokesman Stéphane Dujarric, IRNA reported.

An Iranian passenger plane of Asseman Airlines hit Dena Mountains, 120 km from Semirom, Isfahan Province, early Sunday morning. The debris of the plane has not been found yet, but all 66 people on board are feared dead in the tragic incident.
