Concluding the suo motu notice regarding the rape and murder of Zainab, Supreme Court (SC) ruled on Saturday that the verdict of the case should be decided within seven days as per the decision of Lahore High Court.

According to local media reports, the SC expressed its satisfaction to the investigation team of the police and also reviewed the report that had been submitted by Punjab Inspector General Arif Nawaz.

The court was also informed that the police have presented charge-sheet against the accused, Imran Ali.
