SLA claim responsibility: blasts disrupt railway traffic

Multiple blasts on the railway tracks rocked the city once again that caused blockade of railway traffic for hours, here on Saturday. According to the spokesman of Pakistan Railways, explosive devices were planted at 14 different points of railway tracks across Sindh while two devices were attached in Bin Qasim area.
He said the tracks, which were slightly damaged in the blasts, were repaired within three hours while those that took place at other parts of the province were declared more harmful for railway traffic. Following the incident, officials of Bomb Disposal Squad rushed to the spot and declared devices exploded in Karachi as of 'low intensity', saying both the explosions were carried with material of not more than100 grams.
Meanwhile, law enforcers found a leaflet from the spot in which Sindh Liberation Army has claimed responsibility of the blasts. Police sources said the terrorists in this leaflet asked why only Balochistan issue has been taken up at both national and international forums; they also are a deprived and suppressed nation and have been struggling for 'independent Sindh' for years. Shafi Burfat, chief SLA has claimed responsibility of all railway tracks blasts in Sindh. These incidents are indicating that SLA has followed the approach of Baloch Liberation Army, accused of targeting railway tracks, gas lines, electricity supply lines and other instalments.
