The All Sindh Husn-i-Qirat and Naat competitions will be conducted from February 20 (today) to 23. These contests would be organised by the Department of Youth Affairs, Government of Sindh, and the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi. An official of the Department said that a jury has also been formed.
He said that for Naat and Qirat, the audition of the female candidates would be conducted on February 21 and those of the male candidates on February 22 at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, from 10 am to five pm.
The Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs, Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari, has directed the officials of the Department that youngsters be encouraged to exhibit their talents and abilities.
He further instructed that care be taken regarding the merit in the competitions.
