Commodities' fluctuate both ways as trading remain modest through week
Commodities on wholesale markets fluctuated both ways, early trading showing rise, later going in the other direction during the week ended on February 18, 2012. The opening day on the wholesale commodity markets saw guwar Sindh, Punjab low type sharply higher by Rs 240 while better type rose by Rs 230.

On Jodia Bazar skimmed milk powder (per bag 25 kg) Irish skimmed quoted at Rs 8500 and Golden burger shed Rs 800 to Rs 9000, vegetable Euro Gold shed Rs 700 to Rs 9100 and Balie Gold ended lower by Rs 300 to Rs 9100. On Wednesday wheat old bardan rose by Rs 20 to Rs 2680, while the wheat bardan new held at Rs 2695, bajra low type retained the overnight level at Rs 2300 while the best type was up Rs 100 to Rs 3300, cottonseed oilcakes with bag Sindh low type rose by Rs 50 to Rs 600 while better type was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 800.
